Directors who have influenced us

Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Tarantino is a director who has had a huge influence on us. He is an American film director, but he is also an actor, producer and screenwriter. He is famous for his non-linear and is widely respected for his style which is very original and artistic. Tarantino has been labelled a director DJ as his style is largely influenced by music, this allows him to use music in a unique way to catch the eye of the public. He has directed famous films such as: Django Unchained, Kill Bill and Pulp fiction. He has won numerous award as a director, including Oscars and Golden Globe awards.

                                       

Tarantino has influenced us to be unique and artistic when making our thriller opening scene. We have been inspired by his musical style and have tried to create music which has a sense of artistry to catch the eye of our viewers. 

David Fincher
David Fincher is an American film director who is widely respected in the movie industry for his talents. He is mostly know for his stylish thrillers such as: Alien 3, Panic Room and Se7en. His style is seen to always entice the audience in a sense that it keeps you on the edge of your seat. He has won numerous awards including an Academy award for best director in the film - The Social Network. David Fincher has influenced us in the way that we will do our credits. We was inspired by the opening credits in Se7en and we have set out to put aspects of the opening of Se7en into our opening.
