Acting on negative feedback
A lot of the feedback that we received we acted on one of the main problems we cam across when filming and editing is that when we filmed a scene where he walked from the car to the door the day changed from day to night and this was blatant. So we then re-filmed this part to keep the aspect of continuity. So re-filming the car part helped us significantly as we now have the aspect of continuity
Also a lot of the feedback that we got after our rough cut said that we needed more close ups of the main characters to show the audience who the villain victim and hero are.so we have a few more shots of the main characters now and that has also helped the story line become a lot clearer.
We have gone away and re-evaluated what we think the best story line would be and the best scenes that we could put in our opening scene and how we could then put the credits in the scene in a creative way.
We now have added extra scenes to create suspense as some of the media students said that there was not enough suspense to draw them into the first scene. Within these added scenes are the credits and a quick flashback of the villain.
Furthermore because the feedback said that we should try and blend the credits within the scene a bit more we have gone for the aspect of se7en of fast paced editing to create suspense and use this to our advantage and this helped us to insert the credits effectively and creatively to the opening scene.
